I had an ADSL connection enabled on a device with existing WAN. The ADSL is actually the primary WAN but is identified as WAN2 within Tomato.
As you can see from the image above the installation happened on 23rd Dec, since then Tomato thinks there hasn't been any traffic.
I can only assume that the WAN Bandwidth - Daily/Weekly/monthly pages are not MultiWAN aware.
I'm wondering...

Band Steering

Hi!

i have installed the newest Tomato Firmware on my Netgear R7000 Router. I only use the router as an access point. On the netgear firmware it was possible to enable a feature named "smart connect". This feature makes band steering and it was possible to use 2,4GhZ and 5GhZ under the same SSID.

Is it also possible to configure band steering under Tomato Firmware?

Two Linksys Single Core Models the "EA6350v1/EA6200" have been released.

Flashing the Linksys models will require the xvortex cfe modification in order for stability on these two models.

Note: If you are coming from dd-wrt and modified your EA6200 to be recognized as the EA6350
or flashing a model that has similar hardware is never a good ideal to do it's important to
flash it properly, in this case having to modify the cfe xvortex accordingly for proper model detection

I have three routers - RT-N16 (FreshTomato 2019.3 MIPSR2 K26 USB AIO), and two WNDR3400v3 (FreshTomaot 2019.3 MIPSR2 K26 USB VPN) on a wired Gbit LAN. The RT-N16 is my router from the cable modem and handles all DHCP assignments, DNS, has wifi disabled, and connects to my cable modem. The two WNDR3400v3 routers are WiFi access points for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with WAN ports disabled, connected to the RT-N16 over the local LAN. I have 2 questions -

FreshTomato 2019.2+ DIR868L WAN VLAN tagging does not appear to work

Hi,

My ISP requires VLAN10 tagging on my PPPOE connection. This works on 2019.1 and when I upgrade to 2019.2 either dirty or clearing NVRAM my WAN fails to connect.

Also fails to work on 2019.3 beta versions.

Could be the same as this, although this suggests it does not work on 2019.1 for them:

After many attempts I got the support added for BCM4708C0 processors. Here are links to the firmware if you wish to test it.
Almost no testing has been done, so flash at your own risk as always.

ASUS I flashed using the mini-cfe and R6400v2 I had to flash DD-WRT first. I am looking into the init file and why it is not working on this model.

Hi,
I use an Asus RT-N18U with FreshTomato Firmware 2019.3 K26ARM USB AIO-64K. And I want to know if and how can I install Lynx browser on it ?
I have to connect my tomato on a captive wifi portal... Normaly I use my computer for the first autentification and after clone the wifi mac adress of my PC to tomato and all works. But only during one week... So I have to be here near my computer to reconnect my network on the wifi each week....

Is anyone successfully using Fresh Tomato on a NETGEAR WNDR3700v3? If so, what version?

Fresh Tomato has several Stable and Beta versions listed but I tried stable-2019.2, beta-2019.3.18, and beta-2019.3.220, all brick my router. You can't recover a WNDR3700v3 with just TFTP either, you have to interupt the start up through the serial connection and put it in TFTP mode.

Hi, my son has lots of games installed on his pc which do daily updates and makes my internet connection slow. So I decided to install a second router behind my primary router, and configure his QoS to allow only half of my internet bandwidth. That works fine, my sons pc can saturate only half of my internet bandwidth.

Hello,

Don't know where I should post. Will try leave here.

Can anybody make and send untouched CFE (boot) dump of R6400 (v1)? Can't find anywhere in public. There are many other entries like 0:macaddr, 1:macaddr and a lot of more as I see from R7000 CFE which comes with Vortex CFE Editor
Mine is quite messy since ancient times when I haven't made any backup. So erasing all nvram (changing FW) makes much pain for me because of manually restoring variables like MAC adresses...

I'm running FreshTomato Firmware 2019.3 K26ARM USB AIO-64K with Linux kernel 2.6.36.4brcmarm and Broadcom Wireless Driver 6.37.14.86 (r456083).

I was recently playing around with some dnsmasq options trying to get one host to use different DNS settings than the rest of the network. I added this to the config:

After clicking save, things went South...

Why should you donate?

I don't know how many of you use Tomato for fun, business or just personal use but have you ever considered donating to the developers?

I use Tomato at home but I've also set it up on almost all my customers' routers. I ask a lot, too much sometimes. All the developers have another job, a normal life and they develop just for fun.

Not donating when using Tomato this much like I do is unacceptable.

Issue with DualWan and DDNS

On FT 2019.3 ARM AIO, I have two WANs set up:

WAN1: external tomato router set up in Wireless client mode
WAN2: ADSL2 via modem

The primary interface is WAN2 so the weight is WAN1 =0, WAN2 =1

On the DDNS page I have asked tomato to monitor the IP of WAN2 and under "Admin Access" I have enabled remote access via HTTPS on port 8080

I recently upgraded firmware for a Netgear R7000 from FreshTomato 2019.2 to 2019.3

Prior to upgrading I had made a lot of customizations (e.g. setup vpn server, scheduled jobs, scripts, ddns, static dns, portforwarding, etc).
I have a setup a script to run for nightly nvram backups that contains 'nvram set' commands for all settings.

When it was time to upgrade, I selected "Upgrade" and "After flashing, erase all data in NVRAM memory".

After the upgrade, I wasn't sure of the best way to...

Hi,

i need some help or explanation.
I'm using RT-N66U and latest MIPS version of firmware: 2019.3.220-beta.

My problem is whatever I try to do I can't enable wireless bandwidth limiter.

My connection is like this:
- two WANs

1st one:
- on USB port is connected Android from which I share mobile internet over USB tethering. This connection doesn't need limit

2nd one:
- direct internet PPPoE connection which is connected to the WAN port on the router from other router - connection is made...
