Bandwidth monitoring to CIFS share

I have a CIFS share set up to my desktop computer, and my WRT54GL is set up to save bandwidth monitoring data to there.

One question though - suppose it's set for every 6 hours. Let's say it tries to write the 9PM-3AM data at 3AM and my computer is asleep. Then at 9AM it tries again and my computer is awake. Will it have cached all the 9PM-9AM data to write at 9AM, or will it have discarded the 9PM-3AM data due to unavailability of the network share?
