On Shibby 128 and RT-N66U, I have been unable to log in with ssh, getting the error "Permission denied, please try again." I verified the values in http_passwd and http_username with "nvram show" and I repeated them many times so it seems not to be an entry error...even did a copy-paste from the output of nvram show. These values get me logged into the web interface without problem. What am I doing wrong?
Solved: Tried again logging in as "root" with the normal password...that got it.
