So here is whats going on and why I need to do this.
I have a billion router in bridge mode so aka modem connected to the asus wan port.
I want to access that router's interface for management and collecting vdsl stats.
The easy way to do this is simply plug in a 2nd cable between one of the spare lan ports and a lan port on my asus ac66u (running tomato usb) and that allows me to access the billion on the main lab subnet, however this uses up one of my asus lan ports.
