I have been testing the tinc VPN stuff from Lancethepants and I'm using two Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 routers. I notice that the VPN can really tax the CPU on these things, leading to CPU loading in excess of 1.85 and even 2.0. When this occurs some of my real-time stuff like VOIP suffers.
So I was looking at Linksys E900 routers. They are supported by the firmware from Lancethepants, and have a faster CPU. The Buffalo router has a 5352 chip running at 200-Mhz. The E900 has a 5357...
