I am running Vicktek's 2014. 1.3f build on an R7000; For this purposes of this question, the router itself isn't too relevant however.
The other day, I installed openwrt on a tplink router that I had just for fooling around. I noticed that the tplink router (I set it up as dump AP, passing everything to the R7000) was ASSIGNING local LAN ipv6 address to the hosts! These hosts were showing up in its IPV6 hosts list.
