Unplugging my WAN cable has resulted in my wifi clients not being able to connect my router (Asus RT-N16), and my LAN clients not being able to see my DLNA server (DLNA server is on another LAN client machine, not on the router itself).
I plugged the cable back in, and looked at my logs. The same message was shown over and over:
