Cstats via ssh

Hi,

I am new to firmware routers. I was wondering if there is a possibility using Tomato to get the bandwith statistic and the IP traffic using ssh without need to login to http so than I can just display just the statistics on the local web without giving anyone acutally access to the router interface ?
